About the service
A cytotoxicity test is a laboratory analysis that measures the effect of a given chemical or material on cells. It is a standard step in assessing the cellular safety of drug candidates, biomedical products and dental materials.
The work consists of preparing the culture, applying the test substance at defined concentrations, incubation, measurement and interpretation of results. Readings are taken with a microplate reader; technical replicates are run for each concentration, and the solvent control together with positive/negative controls sit on the same plate.
