Evaluation of Propolis on Oral Flora Cells
Cytotoxicity testing of propolis applied at different concentrations to human oral flora cells.
The effect of propolis, a natural product, on human oral flora cells was examined at different concentrations.
The concentration range was chosen so that changes in cell viability could be followed by dose; the solvent control and control groups were run on the same plate. The results provide data for evaluating the potential of propolis in oral health applications.
